Aftercare Instructions
If you follow these simple steps your tattoo should last a lifetime. If any problems arise with a tattoo, please return within a year of receiving the tattoo for a free touch up.
- If using a cloth or plastic bandage, remove after a minimum of one hour.
- If using Saniderm or a similar adhesive-backed bandage, please wait 3-5 days before removing, as per the artist's recommendation.
- With clean hands, wash the tattoo gently with soap and warm water, DON'T SCRUB IT!!!!
- Pat/ dab the tattoo dry gently with paper towels. DO NOT RUB DRY!!!!
- Apply a small amount of unscented, white lotion 3-4 times a day. We recommend the H2Ocean aftercare products or the Lubriderm (blue bottle).
- Too much lotion with damage the tattoo- BE CAREFUL!!!!
- You may bathe or shower with your new tattoo, but don't soak the tattoo for too long in any kind of water
- NO SWIMMING!!!| This raises the risk for infection. Wait until It heals to swim
- The sun damages the pigment in your sin, if you want your tattoo to look good we recommend avolding getting it sunburnt. The tattoo is "under" your skin, so a tan will tone down the colorsĀ

Saniderm Disclosure:
If using a transparent adhesive bandage like Saniderm or similar, please note that while generally suitable for most skin types, it's deigned to be hypoallergenic and breathable, making it compatible with various skin sensitivities. However, some individuals with specific allergies or extremely sensitive skin may experience an allergic reaction to the adhesive. Upon experiencing a reaction, immediately remove the bandage and wash the area with non-fragranced soap and water and proceed with lotion and aftercare as outlined above. Contact your artist if you have any further questions, concerns or questions.
